Dishy Central is written and run by Ash B. Ash has worked in the IT industry for more than 20 years and has lived and worked in three countries: Australia, Canada and the United States, where the site is based.
How Our Guides Are Made
Our guides are research-based. We do not own or hands-on test Starlink hardware. Instead, each guide is built from Starlink’s own documents (its Help Center articles, specification sheets and terms) and from published coverage of plan changes. Where we give an example, it is labelled as an illustration.
- Guides we have updated list the Starlink pages they used at the end, and show a “Last reviewed” date.
- Starlink changes plans, prices and rules often, and they vary by country and address. Always confirm on starlink.com before you buy or change a plan.
- If a guide gets something wrong, we correct it and update the page.
